In Celebration

I've been so upbeat all night...I'm finally feeling resolve and closure!! Have I mentioned how happy I am? Here's a layout I did, just because I love my kids and I love these two photos and they made me happy.

I think I'll be able to sleep tonight. Haven't really slept in about 4 days.

FINALLY!!!!!!!

After 4 years of seperation and one and a half years of legal battling, they have finally settled!! My lawyer is going to the court house today to file the minutes of settlement and then in a few weeks time, i'll be able to,FINALLY, officially file for a divorce. I am getting what I claimed for...thank you GOD!

I am thrilled!! AND I want to thank you all for your prayers and support. You've all been wonderful and supportive friends and family and I soooo appreciate every single one of you!

I scrapped tonight to relax

What a stressful week. I'm so exhausted. Tonight, with the heat being excruciating in this house...i decided to do the July Sketch Challenge and open up my June kit too. HA! I swore I would not become a kit HOARDER!!!
I got to use my new scrap space tonight...it was so comfortable and everything organized and handy!! WOOHOO!!

Hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Cute stuff that made me smile today.

This first pic is of my neice Trinity pulling Kayla and Jory in the wagon. Obviously, this is an old photo that surfaced on Facebook (thanks Trin!). So cute!!

And this i found at Cute Overload
I've always loved ladybugs. How pretty is this?

And well this.....is also from Cute Overload. I thought it was fitting for a Friday. HAHAHA! Have a good one - my lunch break is now over and I gotta get back to work. ****TGIF

My Scrap Nook

YIPPEE!!! My internet at home is finally working again!
I'd been busy while it was down (for a whole week!), cleaning off my dining room table (which is where I always scrapped). The dining room was filthy and disgustingly messy! This is how it looks now. AHHHHHHHHHHH!

And this is where my scrap nook is now! (In the office behind the computer).

The other night when i went to the BUCK or TWO, I got most of this stuff. I have no clue where to keep all this crap so i stuff it in my mini basket and put it under the table. HA! (These of course are all unopened as of today).

Up close of some great finds...I couldn't believe these chipboard alphas. WOOHOO!

And just a few other things - mostly chipboard pieces and fabric sayings.

I can't believe i nearly forgot to show you this: (felt letters)

I swear that tomorrow night I'm actually going to use my new space and do a layout using my JULY kit from LP for the JULY sketch contest thingie. I've been wanting to do it all week, but couldn't get online to print out the sketch. LOL! I found this set of stickers at the Buck or Two, and they go perfectly with the July Kit. PERFECT!

IN the meantime, I'm going to find out just who started decorating around here. I think Jory has been practicing his Locker Lock for the Fall (first time using lockers)...I found this hanging on my candle decorations. What a butt!! LOL!

I finally learned how to do it!

FINALLY, i learned how to duplicate layers and do this ----->>>

That picture was taken in March on "FLOWER DAY" at Dennis' house. Jory had put a broken tulip in my hair and I grabbed my Cooler cause it was hot! Love how this turned out.

I also edited this photo of the baby birds just born in the nest stuck on the ladder on the side of Dennis' shed.

I did go to the Buck or Two last night and came out of there $51.00 lighter. LOL! I cleared the shelves of their chipboard letters -- i bought 8 packages. They are already dressed, which I like...i won't have to fuss with them! LOVE THEM! Forgot to take photos...i'll show ya later. :-) I also picked up a few other really good steals!

Not sure what is wrong with me...but I was really sad last night. Kind of an 'out of control' thing. I didn't know why i was, and i had no reason, but i just was. I went to bed early -- after doing this layout.

I had really wanted to use the July Kit from LP, but i couldn't help but eye that Three Bugs in a Rug kit I purchased, especially for Jory. I thought these papers matched really nicely with the photos. My Super Star Special Boy...helping me in the garden, kissing the cedar. LOL!

Buck or Two

Erin went to the Buck or Two last night in Barrhaven and got the most amazing set of chipboard letters. As soon as Rogers leaves from fixing my darn internet at the house, I'm taking a trip to the store to stock up on Chipboard Letters. Erin said they came in all kinds of patterns and colours.

I was so excited last night to find my July Kit from LP Club in the mailbox. What a gorgeous kit. The only problem i have with it, is that the paper is double sided and I won't know which side to use!! Argh!! Love the tags too!! Go here to get a sneak peak and if you join the club, tell him I referred you!!

The kids and I watched "Bridge to Terabithia" the other night. What a great movie!! I recommend it highly - tear jerker for sure!! Kids said it was the best movie they had watched in a long time. Watched the Last Mimzy too...it was rather strange. Not sure if I like it or not. Don't ever rent, SMOKIN' Aces - Movie sucks. Dennis and I opted to sit on the front porch and watch the moon and stars instead of that. It was a good choice. :-)

Now...on my way to work - so I can go to Buck or Two and spend all my hard earned money. LOL!

This guy is sooo cute!

I haven't for a long time, but I used to visit this site every day. Today, i needed a little 'cuteness' and this pic just made me go "awwwwwwwwwww". He's so cute!

Congratulations!

No internet at home. Rogers is down again - and I'm not happy because there was a service guy there on Saturday afternoon - but when i got home from D's house...the internet was still not working. Kayla's not very happy!

Weekend was gorgeous. Weather was phenomenal!! Dennis and I sat out on the front porch watching the stars and the moon all night on Saturday. It was so peaceful. I slept so well that night.

Congratulations to Rebecca for winning first place on the LP challenges!!
Second Place to Corry and third place for me!! Rebecca and Corry, you both do awesome layouts - and I am always inspired by you both. Congratulations!! It was fun wasn't it?? I can't wait to see what prize I get. (hehehe)

Okay....i won't be rambling much today, got a crap load of work to do this morning.
Work is not very pleasant!

Almost forgot to show you my shoes!!

Crazy me!!! JILL - i took these photos for you. :-) Dennis and I got a few good shots with his camera at the wedding a couple of weeks ago, but since we live in seperate houses and i forget to put them on a CD to bring home, you'll have to suffer with these shots of my feet. HAHA! I took these tonight, after I got home from work and I desperately need a pedicure, but here ya are!! These are those 'Stripper' Shoes I got for the wedding. I thought they were quite pretty!! AND i can walk just fine in them....

I came home from work and found this on the fridge. Awwwwwwwwww....Kayla's so sweet and she's brilliantly correct! LOL. I know she really just means to say thank you for buying her NX cash for Maple Story...her character looks so cool now. **Teens..sigh!**

Today is Thursday - one more sleep and it's Friday!

It's been a terribly long week. I had promised myself I would not work overtime to catch up on everything at work here that I missed while I was off, but I worked 2 hours OT so far this week. I did get the month end done (sort of), which was a bonus. I was really doubtful it would ever happen - as I was truly overwhelmed with work when I got back. Just sat here this morning talking with one of the office staff and found out - this one certain backstabber in the office (who shall remain nameless) did his usual, talk about himself...and tell everyone that I don't work hard enough around here. I want to cut his b@ll$ off - what an a - hole. I should start counting how many smoke breaks he takes...and for how long he goes out for them. I think it would add up to 2 hours a day...when I take about 10. ***i am entitled to half an hour break a day! WTF?! GRRR...i hate office backstabbing, brown-nosers. Makes me seriously think about working for myself. I hope someday this can happen. I hope Dennis' business does really well and i can just work for him. He'd make a great boss. haha! Mom and Dad, I didn't tell you yet, but Dennis is 100% self employed now. He no longer works at that High Tech company in the city. He got a nice severance package to keep him going till his business gets off the ground! Pray for an abundance of work for him! :-)

I watched Premonition last night, that flick with Sandra Bullock. Great movie.
And...i did this layout to relax last night. I love it.

** Special thanks to Sandra L, for the chipboard (I used up the rest of it from that kit you got me and special thanks to Brenda G. for the stickers I used for the PICNIC title - i knew those would match this kit perfectly!**

Tagged by Christina

I've been tagged by Christina to do this blog thingie.

** 7 Random Facts about me (as if you all are interested or didn't know already!)

1. I smoke. I know...i quit for two months in January 2007, but i took the easy way out and started up again, after a much stressful situation that just rocked my nerves out of the solar system. I WILL quit again and soon!

2. I swear. I am more conscious about it now and am trying to curb the nasty, filthy, vile, disgusting habit...but i really do have a trucker's mouth. Me sweet???? Ummmmmmm...not always. :-)

3. I love sweets. I'd rather eat a chocolate pie than a steak and I'd rather sit and eat ju-jubes than a bag of chips. It's a girl thing.

4. I have pudgie, fat toes. I hate them.

5. I haven't had my period for 2 months. I'm not pregnant...just loving this Depo Provera shot!! WOOHOO!

6. I have nearly two unopened KITS from Life Preservers - I think I'm hoarding. I sometimes feel like I'm going to have a stroke when I actually cut the paper. Waaaaaaah!

7. And lastly, but not leastly...I can handle people in small doses. UNLESS your name is Dennis Cameron and You GET ME (the real me)...I don't want to spend more than one hour with you. LOL! I just don't have the patience to chat about your shopping trip. People tell me I'm extrememly patient and tolerant (and I am!) but...I am secretly cringing if you are blabbing away about useless nothingness.

Did another layout

I just love the (Orange Creamsicle from Pink Martini Designs) from the May kit at LP Club. I have been busy with other projects and holidays and hadn't scrapped in a while...

First day back at work

...and it was nuts!! Payroll and so much to catch up on. I want to cry.
I came home and was so tired, i had to scrapbook. I was so in the mood - and hadn't done it in such a long time. I was totally inspired.

Kids are doing well. They had a blast week - Jory said he just lay around all day cuz he needed a 'catching up' day from all the activity. I know how he feels.
I had the most relaxing and peaceful weekend with Dennis. I feel so much peace and hope for him...and I can see how God is turning things totally around for him. I'm so happy!!! He's so much happier - which makes me happier!

The last day of our holidays

Today was the last day of my holidays with the kids. :-( Waaaaaaah! I had such a great week, i don't want it to end. The kids had so much fun!!
We went to the Science and Tech Museum today and then we had supper/lunch at East Side Marios. Wow...the week flew by.

Now, I'm off to see my honey! See ya Sunday nite!

Sprinkler Park

Yesterday we spent the day with Sarah and the boys at the Sprinkler Park. It was a nice, relaxing day. When we got home, Erin made us her delicious chicken fried rice and i made Garlic Spare Ribs....yummy.

WEDNESDAY - the day of thunderstorms!!

I woke up this morning and it was sunny. I figured...why waste the day indoors?? We had planned to go to the Science and TECH museum but since it was sunny, i wanted to take the kids to Andrew Hayden Park to feed the ducks. So we did that. Notice the storm clouds that rolled in while we were there.

So we left there after a half hour and drove out to the Putting Edge, which is a glow in the dark mini putt place. They were fully booked but the guy at the counter told us to come back at 4:30 and we should be able to golf. SO....we went to Pizza Hut to eat a late lunch, early dinner...hahaha...and to wait out the storm.

It was the first time Luce had been to Pizza Hut. Kayla and Jory of course, love Pizza Hut. They go there all the time with their Dad.

After Pizza Hut...we took a stroll at Super Pet and checked out all the pets. FUN!
**I didn't get photos...there was a really happy employee who was really into showing us all the pets...hahaha...it was like we were at the Zoo or something. I felt so intimidated and annoyed...i really wanted to tell him to take a pill. LOL!.

Then we get to Putting Edge. New guys at counter. They tell us the other guy on in the morning, shouldn't have booked us in, cuz they have no room....and we can't golf. SO...i pulled out my super annoyed voice, look and stamped my feet...and they fit us in...and we only had to pay half the price. GOOD...not bad for $18.00. LOL!

Kids absolutely loved this!!! What a cool place!! Everything glows in the dark.....

Then we played some arcade games....

and then we came home and crashed!

I'm so tired.

Petrie Island is awesome!

Yesterday we spent the day at Petrie Island. It's a beach on the Ottawa River out in Orleans, but more than that, it's a natural reserve for turtles and frogs, birds and another amphibians. The children were thrilled to be here, and I must admit I thought it was really relaxing there as well. I hadn't been on a hike in a long time and was reminded of how much Kayla and Jory loved to go hiking when they were younger. The kids searched for fossils, skipped rocked, tried to catch frogs, and we browsed many beautiful flowers and plants in the pond like atmosphere. We enjoyed a picnic on the beach afterwards.

After all that, I was totally exhausted but we drove out to Remic Rapids and had a look at the Inook Shooks (spelling??). I think they change these every year...however...they were kinda cool looking.

It was supposed to rain today...but looks like it's gonna be a good one, so i think we'll go to Andrew Hayden Park today to feed the geese and ducks (which they have signs everywhere not to). We'll bring a picnic and take a walk out to the little tiny lighthouse. I hope we aren't too tired....all this exercise has been good for us - we all slept like babies last night. :-)

Day Two

Today we're going to Petrie Island. I'm just getting ready now...i hate to wake up the kids, but we got to get an early start. Yesterday, Uncle David came to visit with the baby. She's getting so big and she's as gorgeous as ever. What a sweetheart.

After that we went to the glow in the dark bowling lanes. Kids had a riot!! Jory was the high scorer in the first round and the second round I won!! Kids didn't want to leave!

After bowling, i took the kids to Toys R Us so they could buy a stuffed animal. They each had their own cash, they wanted to spend. They went nuts in here...and of course had too many hard decisions to make. LOL!!

After all that we came home, ate some spaghetti and shrimp and the kids did the dishes. That's enough for one day.
