Today Jory turned 13. We officially have two teenagers in the house and that makes me feel old...ha! Brenda...Diane...do me a favour and look if they have ROCK BAND for PS2 at Walmart...i'm looking for the bundle. OMG, it's sold out everywhere and i wanna get one for Jory for his birthday. Let me know...thanks!!
Mom and Dad, Jory got your card in the mail today...he's thrilled about the money...he's gonna buy some more Naruto books!! He's really into reading lately!! Thank you, love you!!!
We went to Swiss Chalet for dinner with Syd and Claudia...it was fun. Jory got a tonne of stuff from them as usual. Here's a couple of pictures...and one very rare shot of Kayla and Jory actually hugging. HA! OMG, i love it!

...well at least in the scrapbooking sense of the theme. I HAD to get this out of my system...i hadn't scrapped in several days...and i missed it. I also did a card...which i will be giving to Dennis...but the lighting was terrible. It's actually black cardstock...with a BLUE strip ...but you can't tell.
Saturday, i cleaned the house...took the trees down and got things organized. Sunday morning I woke up cleaned the bathrooms and washed the kitchen floor then got ready to go to WalMart to pick up a few things. I had a flat tire AGAIN. Now...this was my third flat tire this week - same tire. First time the tire people replaced the valve. Two days later flat again...this time he replaced the seal around the rim. Flat again...this time he found a small hole, which he plugged. SO...i am hoping really really hard that the third time is a charm!! UGH...how annoying to have a flat tire and not being able to have your car!
So...after that i went to Walmart and picked up a few things...then relaxed with the kids. In between waiting for the tire man and after shopping i got quite a few layouts done...i was on a role!!

P.S. Dennis got offered full time...he is now an official salary employee! God is good!!
I went totally nutso this morning...had two cups of coffee and cleaned like a freaking mad woman. I took down the christmas trees and put all the decorations away...took me a couple of hours. Then i swept the entire house and did a few loads of laundry...and get this...i actually dusted. For those who don't know about my severe allergies to dust...i cannot dust, or I sneeze and get stuffed up, and get hives all over my body from it. Today though, it didn't bother me. Those Apple Cider Vinegar Pills have nearly taken my allergic reactions away!!! It's like the miracle cure pill. OMG, i'm serious!!
Then around 2 i ran out of steam so i took a shower, sat in my scrap room with a towel on my head and these two layouts...all within an hour. I'm so proud of myself. Now...the kids want me to order pizza...and i'm feeling it baby...off to see if I have cash in my wallet.
It's been such a busy week for me. I worked overtime every single night (2 hours each day) and Tuesday i got my hair done...which took 3 hours. My house is totally neglected and I need to clean like a major psycho. I also need to take my trees down this weekend. Ya, you heard that right...they are still up! I suck. LOL!
I relaxed...and did these two layouts tonight...this is my neice Natasha when she came for a visit at the end of December...although I think I put January 2008 as the date of the photos...told you I sucked.
Kids are great...Kayla starts exams next week, so she's busy studying this weekend...guess it'll be me and Jory taking the tree down. Dennis started his new job last week and he really likes it, but he's exhausted at the end of the day...from all the hard thinking he does...job is demanding and sucks your life out of your brains. LOL! Seriously...it's going well. They offered him Full Time as they mentioned at his contract interview....so he's going to stay there. I hope he continues to like it!
Kayla's better. No more puking...thank God. I made Chicken Cacciatore tonight and she ate some...which is good!! OMG, one of my old clients found me on Facebook...it's so nice to hook up with people you never thought you'd ever be in touch with again!! COOL!!!

Poor Kayla. She has been throwing up all day. She still hasn't eaten or drinken (is that a word?) anything. I put a glass of gingerale on the table but she's scared to death to drink it. That time of year I guess. :( Please say a prayer for her. She is thin already...and really shouldn't lose more weight. HA! Me, on the other hand...i could afford the stomach flu for about a month....LOL! (Okay i'm kidding!) ;)

Jory and I replaced the ink cartridge. I bit the bullet and used one of those refill services. I'll have to print a few more pictures at a better quality setting, but these turned out not too poorly. We printed a sheet of christmas pictures in wallet size and made this layout. :) Sorry about the glare...not really the greatest pic. I'm too lazy to redo it.
I just realized i scrapped myself two nights in a row - how vain is that?? HA! This is a layout of me...as you will recall...on my 37th birthday...moments before i went to bed. I was tired...real tired...and looking kinda old. Except it don't show my 'nine' chins....so it's a pretty good pic. LOL!
I got my car back tonight...seems good!! I couldn't believe it...it got washed inside and out and it looks so sparkly... I love my car...glad it's home!!!
I drove that G5 around tonight and now that i'm comfortable with it...i totally love it. I love the sound the blinker makes and i love that the heater and defrost work really well. LOL!
Here's a layout I did tonight...after I spent $48.00 on a fancy haircut at a fancy salon. I booked a professional DYE job next Tuesday....estimated cost of repair....hahaha...will be $85.00. OMG!
I brought my car to the collision centre to get an estimate done (for damage)...they will do a full exam tomorrow...and wanted to keep it overnight...so i have a rental. It's a G5 *PONTIAC....it's alright, but I MISS MY SUNFIRE!!!!!!!!!! My SUNFIRE is so comfortable and i know where everything is.
We are such creatures of habit...I really want my car back soon!!!
Ya that's rite. We're alive. IT was a close one. We went out to the car to leave for D's house...started off by finding out someone had broken into it...nothing damaged or stolen, cuz i don't keep anything but crap in there...but still!! The contents of my glove compartment were strewn all over the car.
We drove off to D's. On the Highway, some idiot blue chev wandered into my lane (I was in the passing lane going 105 km.)....he just wandered...no blinker...nothing...just started driving half in my lane and half in his...i reacted...to get out of the lane...turned my wheel to the left...and hit the shoulder...reacted to get back in my land, but he was swerving AGAIN....and i lost control of my car and went right into the ditch on the left hand side. NOW...the miracle is...that it was a flat ditch...but lots of snow... When we went down...the snow covered the entired car and the inside turned black and my life flashed before my eyes...because all i did was grip my wheels, close my eyes and say OH MY GOD!!!!!!! Angels were looking after us yesterday. First thing i did was call Dennis. He phoned the police, to which they had told him they had already received two phone calls about it...so within minutes there was a paramedic, a fire truck, and an OPP officer. We were all okay, but really really scared and quite shooken up. I'm so tense from the nerves...my back and shoulders hurt and i clenched my jaw so tight that i have a migraine...but other than that we are okay! Thank you Jesus.
A really nice guy with a big tow truck came and pulled us out...we had to get cranked out of there...
I'll have to bring it to garage tomorrow for an assessment...engine smells like it's burning, brakes are touchy, and it shakes a bit....i also totally ripped the wheel skirts right off...so there'll be some body work to do too.
SO...my first accident....i was scared to death -- but really it could have been much worse...so thank you JESUS again...for your angels. We remembered to pray before we came home tonight...just to make sure we got home safely!

So Dennis had another interview today...and got offered that job as well. NOW all he has to do is decide which one will be better for him....some more praying is at hand!! AWESOME GOD!
I had fun tonight...hanging out with my sister Stella, while the kids went to the Winter Bash at the Church. WE set up a date for next Saturday to clean the basement...and I can finally get rid of all the toys down there - she wants them! WOOHOO!
This one of my cute son...all the girls love him. Not sure i like the result of this....i kept getting interrupted with this one...i should have walked away and finished it later. OH well.
Just wanted to give the praise where it is due. Thank you GOD for leading, and then giving Dennis a new job today. Not just any job, but a really darn good one. It pays to wait...as God always knows the perfect things for us. He starts on Wednesday of next week. :)

I did this layout tonight, of Kayla's 15th birthday...i was thinking of how happy she was tonight...since i brought them to the comic book shop and they discovered they had their favorite Naruto characters there...that it reminded me of how big my little babies are getting. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Yayyyyyyyyy! ha...(mixed feeling about that one).
All I really want is something i can't have all the time...and want soooooo bad, it hurts. Hurts alot actually. More than anything...i just want to share my entire life with this man. Why does life have to be so complicated? I wish things were different.
