I can’t believe it’s July already. Time flies! I’m sure Brenda is getting anxious to have that baby – now that we are in the midst of a disgusting heat wave. The heat here is unreal!
Anyways, as you already know we had a baby shower for Brenda last Saturday. The following people went: Me, Kayla and Jory, Diane, Stella, Stephanie, Jacqueline, Sarah, Lina and Trinity, Katie, Janelle, Colleen, Trinity and Claudia. Of course, our guest of honour Brenda and Maddison were there too!
We rented the party room in Brenda’s apartment building. It was just a bare room, with a view of the pool. It was good enough! With a little bit of decorating and love we made it comfortable. Here’s the girls getting their food (which we had lots of).
I’m not sure who I thought was going to come, but I brought enough food for 30 people…ha! I guess it’s better than not having enough. Everyone did a fabulous job – thank you ladies!
At first, the punch table fell and we had a big punch bowl all over the floor (yes it was full of punch). I have a huge bruise on my foot – thank you Table!
Brenda was really blessed with a tonne of awesome stuff. I can’t begin to tell you everything she got…but let’s see if I can try. She got her exersaucer, crib set, high chair, sweet adorable outfits, towels and lots of other things she needed! She even got a big box of diapers. Think she’s all set to go now! ;)
We thank those of you who could not make it but wanted to be there and sent gifts anyways…you’ve been a true blessing! AND we know you wanted to be there – and we missed you but we understand! Go BRENDA!
