Only One more Week!!

Dennis, the kids and I will be on holidays starting next Saturday!! I can hardly wait. I haven't vacationed at a cottage for a very long time. Here's a couple of pics of the place...



Sarah, Rob and the kids and I booked another few days of camping at the end of August at one of the local Provincial Parks. I also can't wait for that! It's been 3 years since I camped. Can you believe it?? I love this place!




And then while searching for old camp photos i came across these ancient photos of me the year after i got seperated and dropped like 60 pounds. HOLY i was a twig!! LOL. I'm gonna put these on my fridge for motivation to lose it again! Only problem was that I had no boobs. LOL!

Life is so routine...

...and it really really sucks sometimes. :( Just so routine...day in and day out, same ole, same ole. I'm so looking forward to having a week off starting on July 5 - 11. I'm totally psyched to spend an entire week with D, sitting on the beach and spending the days inside a cottage doing absolutely NOTHING!!

I just wanted to say that I really like Josh and Kate on SYTYCD. They rock. AND for some reason i really really crave a 'DRINK' right now. LOL!

I did this layout of Kayla and Jory. I took this picture of them on Mother's Day and i absolutely love it to pieces -- just like them! They are so awesome. I'm blessed to be their mom!

SYTYCD?

I must admit i have never been much into watching those dancing shows, but i'm hooked on this season of 'so you think you can dance'? Anybody else watching it??? There are some fabulous dancers this year...and it's been so fun to watch!! SO...tonight while i was waiting for the evening to pass and i could watch it - i made these two layouts! **Okay i really just wanted to dig into my new LP kit which arrived last Friday. Hellya, fricken right on!

This one is of Kayla - her first time on a 4 wheeler! I was scared to death to let her on it. I know how nervous she gets so i was nervous for her! AND i wasn't sure how she'd handle it. Turns out she can steer that thing better than i can!! LOL. She loved it! Thank Goodness for Dennis encouraging her and kinda giving me shit for being such a pussy.


This next layout is of my sister Brenda. She is 15 months younger than I am. I stole this picture from her Facebook profile and photoshopped it a bit. I think it turned out so awesome!! Brenda, you're so beautiful! For those who don't know...Brenda helped me raise my two darling kiddos when she lived with me while the kids were little. Kids grew up calling her nana!!

Happy Birthday!

Today is a double birthday blessing!! My sweetheart and my baby sister were born this fantastic day!! Hope you had a fantastic day Diane!!!



I spent the weekend with the kids at D's house. We had fun as usual!! Uncle Gary came by to visit and Dennis and I went on a spin on his motorcyle. It was my first time ever on one...and i was both scared to death and having a riot at the same time!! I got a pic of Dennis when he got back. My man is 43 today!!! I love you Babe! xo

Erin moved out this weekend. She got her own apartment!! Soooooooo...good luck to you Erin!! I can't wait till you get settled in and we'll come and visit you! :)

Only two more weeks till our cottage vacation...i can't hardly wait another day!!

All about Me (2day)

Jory has his big yearly field trip tomorrow with his class - water park fun!! He's so excited. Kayla starts exams Friday and one more on Monday and then she's done!! Tuesday is the last day of school!! I am sure the kids can hardly wait! I've been so tired this week - i can't barely stand it.

Father's Day and more

Happy Father's Day to my Daddy!! You are so loved and I miss you.

Dennis thought I deserved a Father's Day gift too (since the kids' real Dad is a Deadbeat). He bought me a new tool set - which i so badly needed!! What a babe!

I didn't get as much done for the crop as I had liked to, but i'll be working on the challenges for my own personal gain this week. There were some really fabulous challenges put out there - and I have a hard time passing up on a challenge!!

Saturday

Okay...i seriously have to go get ready to go see my BF. He's waiting for me!! I got up at eight this morning and started right way at the Crop.

I got two layouts done tonight and i'm totally pooped, so i'm going to bed now.

Fricken' Heat

It is disgustingly hot here. Erin is suffering through pneumonia - i really don't know how she is surviving!! I went to Canadian Tire and bought two new fans, for the kids rooms. That way I can steal the big one! ha!

YAY for new fans!

Fun weekend - as usual

It was incredibly hot this weekend - it felt like a sauna outside. I did however, manage to plant the rest of the garden at Dennis' house during a cool break in the evening. I planted some dahlias, tiny tims, begonias, a few petunias and a few other daisy type looking flowers. Have I ever mentioned how much I love Daisies? I absolutely love them...more than roses! Allison planted some Zinnias and sunflowers, and also poppies - by seed. They had already begun to sprout. It is so rewarding to watch flowers grow from seed!

Dennis took the opportunity to ride around the yard with the kids on the four wheeler. What a fun evening!!



I'm going to have a busy week - getting a couple of things ready for the LP Birthday Bash Crop next weekend - I'm looking forward to it!! Only 27 more days until we leave for the cottage!! I'm getting so excited!

Jory won an awesome skateboard

My kids hardly ever go out. I guess that's one of the downfalls of being a single mom...no extra money, and i'm too tired to drive them all over town at the end of a work day. By the time I do the chores, do the shopping and run around for other errands, run errands for other people (yes i'm talking about girlfriend duties) it's rare i have energy to take my kids anywhere (I do...but it's a treat!).

So...I like it when the kids go next door to the HOUSE Band competitions they have at church. I must admit, I love having just a couple of hours of peace and quiet.

Last night at 10:45 my son came storming in the house, freaking out, screaming and pumped to the 10th decibal. He won a custommade skateboard which is valued at $200.00. I was so thrilled for him, because he's been asking me for a new one, but I really can't afford to dish out $200.00 for one. I'm so thankful to God that he blesses my kids - I really feel all the prayers being answered. Thank you to all of my family and friends who pray for us - because really this is a huge blessing to Jory. I saw his eyes light up - which makes me so incredibly happy.







It's been really really hot here...and is expected to be extremely hot today...they are warning 40 degrees celcius humidex factor and we have NO air conditioning...so off we go to D's house to stay nice and cool this weekend. I'm gonna finish up the garden too. I'll post pics when i get back. It's looking good!! Have a great weekend everybody!
