Completely forgot. Tomorrow is court day for my lawyer. It's procedural so I don't have to go (thank God). Get this freaking thing over with already!!!

We went to the orthodontist today. Kayla needs braces. The adult canine tooth is impacted under her gums. Only way to get it out is to surgically remove it or pull it down with braces. While we're at it, we'll fix her crossbite. Ya... $5600.00.

Another birthday party.

We went to dinner at Swiss Chalet tonight with Syd and Claudia to celebrate Jory's birthday. They had a bunch of presents for him. We had lots of fun. I'm tired...didn't get much relax time this weekend, but...wanted to post a couple of pics before i went off. These are sweet!

Another weekend already

Kayla's pink eye is getting better. We will keep her in all weekend, just to make sure, but she looks alot better! Jory has a friend sleeping over for the night and I went grocery shopping, scrapbooking supplies and then scrapped my first "Me and Dennis" layout to keep for myself. HA..i made him a scrapbook for christmas, one for the kids' dad and one for Luce, and I never had my own of us!

Update on Us

Happy Late Valentine's Day.

Kayla and Jory exchanged cards last night...it was so cute. They actually told eachother they loved eachother. HA! It was so cute.

Jory got his molar pulled out last night and this adult molars sealed. He had freezing for the first time and his first needle in the gums. I felt sorry for him, he looked so scared lying in the dentists' chair. He was tough though and took it like a trooper. He loved that his lip was frozen after...thought it was quite cool.

Kayla has an appointment with an orthodontist at the end of the month. Her Canine tooth hasn't come out yet (the baby one). The adult one is underneath it, but sitting sideways. She may need some 'help' getting it down.

Our furnace broke down the other night. It was fixed though.
We have tonnes of snow. I hate it. I hate shovelling and it's so friggin cold this morning. I hate it. Have I mentioned, i hate snow and winter?? (hehe)

Kayla has a raging case of pink eye. She'll be off school for a bit. Poor thing...she looks like someone punched her in the face. (I swear I didn't!!!).

So I went to the doctor...

Dr. S gave me the dreaded pap test. (Ugh, I hate those). He did say everything 'felt' and 'looked' okay. (Don't know if should be blushing right now..haha). He's sending me for blood work and I have to go for a trans vaginal ultra sound. (Ugh..I hate those too!) Ahhhh...so much to look forward to.

He suggested I take Evening of Primrose Oil to help with the 'emotional' stuff for now. We shall see how it all takes effect. My breakfast cupboard is full of supplements...haha...there is about 8 bottles of different crap in there.

On a better note, I've been feeling pretty damn good this week. Go figure.

Scrapbook Heaven this afternoon

Kids went off with Steve for a few hours, so I did what I do best on my time away. TO RELAX. Here's what I did this afternoon.

NOW...I'm going to call Dennis, because I really miss him. :-(

I was so mad.

Steve's weekend to have the kids this weekend. Friday he calls, and plans are all a go. I am so excited...gonna spend the weekend with my sweetheart. (Valentine's is next week). Saturday morning, he calls.."Sylvie is sick, I can't have the kids, but I'd like to have them on Sunday."

I wanted to choke him. Obviously lying. Another one of his games to ruin my weekend. I am going to make sure that !@$*@# is not in the truck when they come pick up the kids, cuz if she was too sick to be around them yesterday, she will be too sick to be around them today. GRRR!

I want to puke.

Wisdom tooth is better! If I could just keep control of food getting stuck there. My mouth smells like dead carcass (Just kidding). HA!

I'm gonna scrapbook later on today, after I get some laundry done. I finally bought new ink for the printer...I'm gonna use it all up again. HA!!

I got my wisdom tooth pulled out yesterday, and todays, i am soressss....someone get me an icepack and some mouthwash. (this blood tastes disgusting).

On another note...LOST was awesome last night. ;) Oh...and I measured....I lost an inch on my thighs and an inch on my waist! This diet and exercise thing is actually friggin' working!

Nerve wracking drive home...

The weekend always go by waaaaaaaaaaaaay too quickly.

I had my very first 'almost in a car accident' night. Driving home from Dennis' the highway was dirty and I ran out of washer fluid (Frig..I should have listened to that inner voice that told me to check the fluid before I left his driveway).

Anyways, I get to city, and had to take the first exit into Kanata. I really didn't know where I was...ha! (I am so non-directional, it's not funny). I stop and fill up my washer fluid and try to find my way back to the highway or at least a familiar road. As I'm slowly pacing down this street...a truck on my right, turning left onto my road...had a stop sign...and failed to!! I was thinking..."Oh shit, he's not gonna stop...so I braked...and had to swerve to the right. THANK GOD...i just missed him...if i hadn't of thought quickly and veered to the right...i would have smacked him right into the driver's door. HOW FRIGGIN' SCARY. So this was my first brush with a near accident - Since I got my driver's licence 3 years ago. I was scared out of my witts. I had to pull over and catch my breath... and then... i couldn't get my witts about me to figure out where I was. I ended up driving in the middle of nowhere and took me an additional half hour to find my way back to the highway.

Anyways...THANK GOD...He was looking out for me. I'm safe. The Kids are safe. No accident and all is well. I tell ya, though...that was really nerve wracking. I hate driving at night...I hate driving in poor weather conditions and I hate driving with a dead cell phone battery (which reminds me to charge the darn thing). I really don't do well in 'new territory'. BUT I did find our way back home. :-)

Saturdays Rock!

Hi everyone. Updating to let you know how things are.
Dad, so glad your surgery went well. I bet you are getting lots of needed rest. I was thinking of how well you managed with your surgery and thought it must be because you are in such good health. I wish I could go on that Herbal Magic diet too...but since funds are limited, I thought I'd try to just be nutritional. HA! I went to the health food/nutrition house the other day and bought some grape seed extract and a couple of bottles of DETOX stuff. I'm gonna clear out my body and get back into shape. Smoking really screwed me up.

The kids and I are going to D's house this afternoon to celebrate Jory's birthday. I'm off to make a cake just now, but wanted you all to know that things are pretty quiet and going pretty well.

Looks like Steve and his lawyer are not signing the order and minutes of settlements, so my lawyer is booking another court date. I just wanna puke about that. That and squish someone in the *YOU KNOW WHAT*. UGH! It's all over HE DON'T WANNA SEE THE KIDS AS OFTEN AS HE HAS BEEN. Unbelievable.
