I'm posting this real quick and then me and the kids are going to watch MORE PRISON BREAK!!!!!!!! Love that show.

I made this from canvas...which i painted and altered with scrapbooking items.

By the way...have i ever mentioned that I think perhaps i'm head over heels in love with Dennis?? Every day i love him absolutely ever the more...it's so different being woman, mature...grown up and just 'getting it'. I realize more and more every week that he's the only one I feel 100% comfortable and ME around. Smooch...babe....I LOVE YOU!

Sweet Lazy Saturdays

Last night the kids went to this Skate Demo/Concert at the church last night. They had a wild time - and enjoyed themselves very much!! Jory brought a few friends and they all enjoyed it. Here are a few pictures. The band was Manafest and the skate demo was by On Deck.

I also made this jewelery box for Allison. I love it...love the colours!!! She's gonna love it!

I love you Dennis, but the other man in my life is Michael Buble. Sarah just called me............... HE'S COMING TO OTTAWA!!!!!!!!!!

I've marked Friday, January 25th off the calendar....OMG, i can hardly wait!!!
I am so excited, i feel like I'm gonna have an anxiety attack. OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!

Productive Evening

Erin made delicious dinner tonight, so I made banana bread and Jory made brownies. While that was going on i made this altered wooden box which i picked up at the dollarama. I made Kayla and BLING BOX. (to carry her new jewelery in.) IT's so pretty!! What do you think??

Today is Tuesday. I can barely wait til the new fall line up of shows start up. (Season Premiere time!!!)

I didn't really know what to post today (I may scrap later), as there ain't much going on tonight, so here are couple of really cute photos of Smudgie laying on Jory. She just loves him. I love how her tail curls up. So cute!

Monday Morning

The weekend seemed long - which I am not complaining about, because normally I sleep half of it away. It was rather nice getting up at 7:00 and rushing off to D's to babysit Allison while he worked, on Saturday morning. I had the whole day to do things for him, which he always appreciates and i always enjoy to do for him (laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, grocery shopping, etc., etc.,).

Sunday however, I had a 'walking flu'. I felt achey and queasy all day - and really didn't eat much. My allergies have been bothering me tremendously, with all the wind going on - so I think my body just had enough of antihistamines. I'm trying to take a day off today, without having to take any medication. I still feel a bit nauseas. Dennis was amazing. He made breakfast for the kids and let me nap on the couch. He's my best friend - he is so intuitive and caring...i really am blessed to have that man in my life. He takes such good care of me. We make a good team.

I had to cave and put the heat on in the house last night, it was so cold. The kids and i watched Tenacious D last night, with Jack Black. I always enjoy his acting. He's funny -- but this movie was just straight weird! We had a few good laffs though.

OMG, OMG, i love the Dollarama

I went to the Dollarama with Erin tonight. I ended up getting a few accessories for the children for their halloween costumes. LOOK at this crazy hat i got for Jory!



I also got these Halloween Scrapbooking things - because I have never done a halloween layout and I am dying to do one. I'll take tonnes of pics this year!



Now....I want to share you with you all this purse album i found on ebay. I wish i had money to buy it. It's stinking awesome and I am going to make one!!!

Kayla's Birthday at Swiss Chalet

Tonight Gramma and Grampa Curry took Kayla and us to the Swiss Chalet to celebrate her birthday and give her her presents. We had fun! Kayla is so quiet, shy, and does not like attention drawn to herself. WELL...Claudia told the staff it was her birthday and so there must have been about a dozen waitresses that came over with the pie and candle and started shouting the birthday song. Kayla's face was as red as a tomatoe...i thought she was going to throw up! LOL! It was rather funny!
Poor Kayla. We so bad. She got a crap load of clothes from them...a pair of jeans, a pair of cotton black pants (NICE)...couple of tops and the cutest little cotton hoodie...with hearts and a drawstring - soooooo cute.







Of course Gramma got her Bobby Jack Accessories: socks, notepads, pencils, candy, and a cute little monkey puppet. Kayla loves monkeys. Bobby Jack rules!

My darling little step-daughter is sick today with the flu bug. Huggles to Allison. Hope you don't get sick Darling Daddy!! Eat your vitamins!!!

I did two quick summer album layouts before we left for dinner.




Anyways, i guess I'm calling it a night. I've got a couple of loads of laundry to do...so I'll be back tomorrow. Nite y'all!

It's Wednesday - it has a big hump

I feel so tired today. NO energy. Headache. Sore neck. I hear the words of Dennis going through my mind right now, "MAN UP SALLY!" ha! Okay dear....i'll tough it out. ((HUGS)).

Didn't do much tonight. I scrapped to forget how crappiness i felt.
I did three layouts...not happy with the third one, but i post it anyways.
The other two i love. You know...when I'm not feeling it, i want to log onto the computer and get a sketch that looks interesting, but the darn kids are always on this thing....i might have to get my own computer!! OR I could "MAN UP SALLY" and kick them off. LOL!

Randomness

Nothing exciting going on here tonight, just I did two more layouts...and now i'm going to sit down and watch Singing Bee. :-)

Praying

Heard last night that my uncle Emery had emergency surgery, where they removed a large cancerous growth from his intestine. Because he is diabetic, his recovery is critical for the next few days. I pray they got all the cancer and he recovers! He has a beautiful family and gorgeous grandchildren. The family is not ready to lose him yet. Please say a prayer.

I was feeling so relaxed tonight. I hung out with Jory, and Kayla and did this one layout which i just took my time on. I was totally inspired by Michelle's layout of Madelyn's picnic - so i give credit to her! I know mine looks totally different but it inspired me nonetheless. Now I'm off to catch a good night's sleep and crack the whip tomorrow at the office. Have deadlines and soooo much work to do.

The hair is dyed and I love it!

At first I thought, "HOLY NELLY, it's dark!!!", but then I did the highlights and it's looking more 'natural'. I love it....and am on my way to go see Dennis (hope he likes it too). Likely...he won't even notice - MEN!

Here are some fun pics of the new doo...although remember i had to take these myself...standing in the bathroom mirror...and the lighting was bad and boy it was hard. Next item on list of things to do is, "LOSE WEIGHT". I am looking so chunky these days. GROAN!

Saturday morning

I'm in the middle of dying my hair right now.
I woke up this morning quite early for a Saturday - it was rather hot. So since 8 O'Clock and while i was waiting for the children to wake up, i worked on another page for my 6 x 12 Summer Album.



That's right. The thing I love most about summer is that I can go barefeet...wear flip flops. I have these wide feet, and pudgie toes, and I hate wearing shoes. My feet always hurt! That picture was taken at Dennis' house on his front lawn, just after a fresh cut. It smelled like fresh cut summer grass and his lawn is sooooooo soft. I love it.

Getting ready to go to Dennis' for the weekend, after my hair is done. I'm dying it medium brown and putting blonde highlights in it. Hoping I'll have time to post pics before I leave for the weekend. Cya!

TGIF

YES, thank God it's Friday!!! It was a short week, with it being a long weekend last one, but it still felt like it was a LOOOOOOOOONG week. First week back to school is always hectic. Kayla and Jory managed a good week - and are enjoying it very much. Kayla is sitting on the sofa right now, working on an assignment in art. She's really good at drawing!

Tonight, we had a great supper. We sat down and yakked about our week...our day and what we were expecting of our weekend. They don't seem too thrilled to be going to their dad's this weekend. I wonder why. We had garlic chicken, homefries and green beans. AND can you believe it...it was so delicious, i took a picture of it. HA!




Then, after supper as they usually do, the kids did the dishes. It was Jory's turn to wash tonight...and this is what I caught him doing! He reminds me so much of myself when i was younger - i used to daydream...i didn't like doing dishses so I'd wander off into another world! His is the world of bubbles. LOL!







And after all the chores were done, I sat in the living room with Jory, while Kayla played on the computer and did these two layouts.
I was feeling so inspired by my kids' awesomeness. :-) ♥♥
