Girl's night.

I hadn't told you that Dennis picked up the kids yesterday morning and took them off my hands for a couple of days. I'm going to meet them tonight. SO...last night after work i went shopping to get Kayla's birthday gift, some party decorations and gift bags and then when i got home, i ate leftovers. HA!

I did a couple of scrapbooking pages and then Erin and I chatted the night away. I watched "DADDY's LITTLE GIRLS", by Tyler Perry (I love his movies *remember Diary of a Mad Black Woman).

I went to bed at 11:00 and woke up pretty refreshed this morning. Thanks Darling. See ya tonight!

Never too tired to do highlights

Last night, even though I was exhausted and could barely keep my eyes open, I highlighted Kayla's hair, to get her all ready for grade 10. Yes...my baby girl is going into grade 10 already. HOLY! I took a few pictures...so eventually i could scrapbook it. Jory was laffing at her. ha!








While I was waiting for the storm to die down and in between the bleaching and rinsing process, I scrapbooked. I decided that I wanted to try a 6 x 12 mini type album for the kids of our summer. Just dozens of my favorite summer photos. I love working with the smaller sized paper...it's easier than pulling off a 12 x 12 and a heck of alot quicker! Love how these turned out. I adore these photos of the kids.





Dennis is picking the kids up this morning and taking them back to his place for a few days. I 'll meet up with them on Friday after work. I gotta go shopping and get Kayla something for her birthday. She'll be 15 on Sunday. WOW! I'm not sure what to get her.

Some days you shouldn't scrapbook

Ugh...I did a layout and am so unhappy with it. I just posting to say...there are some days, when you GOT IT and other days when you just suck. LOL!

By the way can someone please tell me how to take a good photo of your layout...without the flash obliterating the photo. GRRR!

Necklace and Earrings Pic

This set is gorgeous. I have always wanted my birthstone!! I sharpened the actual earring and necklace and lightened the colour on my skin...so it would show up better. Did I say yet, how much I love Dennis??? OH....and this will go perfectly with the diamond earrings he bought me last year...for no reason...hehehe...Yah...I love him.

OMG!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!! Dennis surprised me this weekend with the MOST gorgeous necklace and matching earrings. It's my birthstone - Citrine with diamonds. A huge setting...and it's so gorgeous!! That man will stop at nothing!! I love him so much!! It's gorgeous!! I'll see about posting pics tomorrow...i'm too tired tonight.

Museum today

The kids and I and Sarah and the boys spent the day at the Museum of Civilization. What an incredible place to go!! I was amazed...awed at the magnitude of the displays. Here are a few of my favorite pics from today, that i wanted to share with you.

Back to school shopping today.

We had a big breakfast this morning, to ensure we were well energized to tackle Walmart and Staples for back to school supplies.
Holy crikes...i spent over $500.00 today on shoes, backpacks, clothes, and school supplies. Kayla needed a new supply of back to school makeup too. Gee!!

Anyways...we had fun i guess.

Kids went to the dentist yesterday, we came back....kayla was feeling sick from the fluoride, so we had subway for dinner, i watched America's Got Talent and then Singing Bee and then went off to bed. **I had a great sleep (for once!).

I hope that Cas Haley wins on America's Got Talent...OMG, that guy is awesome!!!

I started working on this layout the day before...but finished it up last night. It's just a quick throw together...but i love the pic of Kayla pretending to punch Jory....she acts as though she hates the guy...but really he's her best friend. So cute.



Okay...i'm off to work now. Groan.

I didn't feel guilty

The kids went and had a picnic with Steve today, so I didn't feel guilty for being lazy and doing nothing...but scrapbooking. :-) **Let me correct myself...i made chocolate chip and strawberry pancakes for breakfast this morning...took a shower, made chicken noodle soup, and then scrapbooked the rest of the day. I loved it.

I came up with this today. :-) Hoping I'm feeling better tomorrow. Groan!

Shitty ole weekend

* Went to work for 5 hours this morning to catch up on July Billing.

** Steve called...he's too busy to pick up the kids today (on his weekend)

*** That screws up my plans to spend the weekend alone with Dennis.

**** I got the sniffles - throat itchy, nose stuffy - voice is hoarse.

***** My mop broke. Had to go out to buy a new one so that I could clean the floors.

****** I am waiting for my homeade hot italian sausage vegetable soup to cook, cuz i'm really freaking hungry

******* I'm not sure what to do tomorrow. Scrapbook I guess.

******** I'm too broke...can't really shop...or I'd probably go buy out the liquour store right now. HA!

And here's a layout I did this afternoon to relax my nerves...cuz this is the only thing that relaxes me anymore. It's me...makeup less and not a perfect hair day....hahaha...scrapbooking away.

I went to the doctor's the other day for my second Depo Provera Shot. I love it. I have been pain free for a couple of months now...i remember now what it was like to be normal. The only complaint i have about the shot was that it made me really bloated and retain water...which leaves me with no energy and just a general feeling of feeling fat and disgusting...LOL! SO...Dr. Legault gave me the miracle, "WATER PILL". I've taken it two days now...and OMG, i feel like a million bucks. I didn't even feel like eating today....and i feel so much lighter!! Insane I know...but i stepped on the scale this morning and i lost 4 pounds already. MIRACLE CURE!

It's actually happening!

A copy of my signed seperation agreement (approved by the court) arrived in the mail today. I stopped...took a breath, shed a tear, said a prayer, gave thanks, and then when friggin' nutso and danced and screamed....and kissed it. LOL! Only one step left....and that's the divorce!! I think I will near have a panic attack when that happens - not out of panic - but happiness.

So...i'm so happy about all that...so why am I so sad?
FRIG!! Life is so complicated.

Long weekend - ya alrite...it was LONG!

I was busy this weekend. Long weekend - ya rite...it was full of work and i'm more exhausted now than I was when it started.

Saturday afternoon, i took the kids to Storyland because the ENCHANTED Gardens does not exist anymore. AND gee...i forgot to get the pics off Dennis' camera before I came home. I got some really good ones of the kids on the paddle boats and on the climbers. Darn. Sunday, I took the kids to the beach and we treated ourselves to Dairy Queen. Mmmmm.

I can't believe how much my garden has grown. I'm posting a few pics. It's so gorgeous. I didn't have time to scrapbook this weekend...maybe that's why i feel so sad. LOL! Ever have those days where you just dissect everything - every word - every action - and make the little things into mountains? I'm having one of those months. Lots to think about. I slept worth crap last night. I think i got 3 hours of sleep and I'm still battling this allergic reaction to something - god...i'm still friggin' itchy!!! Hmmmmmm.

David...saw the pics of Natasha's dedication. I'm sorry now that I didn't make it. She looked so gorgeous! I hope you post more pics on your facebook...Love you!

It's Friday - thank God!

I'm so glad this week is almost over. It's been up and down all week. The first half of the week, my nerves a bundle of beans...and now just so darn hot, i feel exhausted. The weather has been a scorcher!

I got my surprise kit package from Sandra L today. WOW!! Thank you Girlfriend - there was alot of really awesome stuff in there - and it all matches so perfectly! I'm gonna be busy tonight! :-) Mwah!

Last night, i scrapped one page...pics of Jory painting the hallway and Smudgie being all curious as to what he was up to....so cute. I love these photos...but not very happy with this layout. Some nights, I just don't have it. LOL! It was too darn hot! Anyways...really loving this gold paint. LOL!



David...hope the dedication goes well...Natasha will be in my thoughts. I just can't make it down this weekend. Too much going on with my car and stuff right now...I do love you though. :-)

The strangest thing happened to me last night. I was dozing off around 11:00 pm, and i had this 'dream' that there was a huge spider in my bed. It seemed real...and i caught myself jumping out of bed to turn on the light - i was petrified...only my foot got caught in the blankets and i friggin' fell really hard on my right hip on the hardwood floor - came crashing down like a freight train. My God...my hip is really sore and is gonna be bruised hugely tomorrow - I'm sure! The kids ran upstairs..."Mommy....did you fall out of bed??" AND once i got over the original shock of a non-existent spider in my bed I laughed my butt off. OWwwwwwwwww...sore today!
