After that, we rushed home, cleaned up and packed up for Dennis' house. It was his 42nd birthday also on the 22nd!
Then we had fireworks at night! Dennis loves to set off fireworks when all the kids are there and they love it!! Jory was his helper - and then we gave the kids each a little tiny firecracker to let off...they loved it. (NO worries...they wore thick gloves and pointed it away from their faces.) LOL!
Sunday, i weeded and cared for my garden. :-) It's starting to get so thick and green and colourful. It's amazing how much that Miracle Gro really helps them grow. There is this amazing pic of a gazillion ants climbing up my marigold. I wonder if they are the little buggers who have eaten all my pansies?

HEY GF!!!!!!!!! i was there celebrating in spirit LOL. i love all the pics and i love your garden. MIRACLE GRO ROCKS LOL. hey for those ants, take a bottle of soapy water, you don't need that much soap in the bottle, and then spray the stem down to the ground, it will keep the ants off of them LOL. that is what i do on my garden and it really keeps them under control.
