It's so nice to have my kids back home together. Jory went camping with Adam this week, and they had a blast. He tells me stories of them paddling in the canoe for hours, and getting stuck in the middle of the lake during a really heavy downpour. They had to go to shore and take shelter in the forest...and try to stay warm. Bob tells me that the boys froze, and they were shivering cold. They went swimming off a remote private beach and went fishing quite a bit. He looks all tanned and buff...got a great workout!
The water slide (all natural by the way) sounds way cool. Apparently, there's a natural rock water slide in Algonquin park, only accessible by canoe. HA..like that'd fly with me. No way I'd have enough energy to row a canoe for two or three hours, just to see a waterfall. (hehehe...i'm lazy!). It sounds nice too.
Jory was wiped. Absolutely exhausted and covered in mosquitoe bites. Better him than me!
He and Kayla slept on the couch as they usually do when they have no school, and i went to sleep peacefully, knowing my two little pumpkins were both at home, safely snuggled in their beds (couch). Finally...a good night's sleep. I think Jory actually missed me...he was so full of snuggles and hugs for his mama. :-)
